Hey, I’m Gulam Ali, A Senior iOS Engineer based in Delhi, India. I’ve been building iOS apps for over 8 years, and I still get a small rush every time Xcode finishes a clean build. What keeps me hooked is the craft, creating experiences that feel smooth, fast, and genuinely enjoyable to use. Over the years, I’ve worked across health, Utility, Ride-Hailing, finance, productivity, and social products, taking apps from early ideas to production and then scaling them further. I enjoy being involved in the full journey, shaping not just how things look, but how they work under the hood.
I primarily work with Swift and SwiftUI, and I lean toward simple, scalable architectures like MVVM and modular design. I care deeply about writing clean, maintainable & testable code, the kind that’s easy for others (and future me) to read and build on. My approach focuses on solid architecture, performance, and building systems that last.
I’ve also spent time working with backend systems using Node.js, along with modern iOS tools like async/await and Combine. This helps me think beyond just the UI and build products with a strong, end-to-end perspective. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me at the gym, exploring new technologies, or refining side projects — always learning, always improving, and always building things that matter.
